Walk Options Saturday 13 May - On the Club website or Member Jungle mobile app, go to the following events

Mt Barney Environs - Very Challenging Walks: These options are Mount Barney summit via South Ridge - L89; and Mount Maroon via the Caves route - M88.

Cronan Creek Falls - from Barney lodge: A relatively easy creek walk to Cronans Falls and return the same way - M43.  This walk may also be rerun on Sunday, depending on a leader and interest.

Walk Anytime: Yellow Pinch Lookout:  2km / 1hr  Rating S33  A natural lookout providing uninterrupted views of Mt Barney. This track leaves from the Yellow Pinch trailhead (1.1 k m from Barney lodge) and climbs steadily through open eucalypt forest to the Yellow Pinch gate. There the track turns right and climbs steeply along a rocky ridge until it levels at a natural lookout above an exposed cliff edge. Take in this ancient landscape—its volcanoes and ring faults—and be mesmerised by the commanding presence of Mount Barney before you.

Want to go out?  - 15 mins to Rathlogan Olive Grove & Shed Cafe;  20km to Rathdowney Pub
